The problem this year was that I needed to decide between Gen-con and Anime Iowa, and it came down to money. I could afford Anime Iowa. The conundrum is, they're both at the same time every frickin' year. :S *smacks self for forgetful ignorance* Which state is Indianapolis? ^_^'' I always thought Gen-Con was up near Chicago.

Anyway- I hijacked my friend Richard this year and paid his entry fee- it was his first convention. We went up Thursday to volunteer- we worked frickin' HARD unloading and setting up Anime Pavillion's stall, the frickin' largest vendor there! GAH! But it 'aid' well with $40 of store credit for three hours of work. Then the convention itself started Friday morning and lasted until Sunday afternoon. UBER fun time! I still wish I were a little more outgoing, though, but I worked on it some!
